Beary Good!

As I looked forward to my graduation, erm. Well, technically I have one more semester to go and the final exams will be in June 2013. Nonetheless, my university's graduation ceremony is usually around middle or end of November. I CAN HARDLY WAIT! So excited OMG!

Ehem.

Pardon the over-enthusiasm.

I have requested from the hubs for a graduation bear. He was like, what was the bear for? Any symbolic meaning behind 'em?

I told him, well technically the bear symbolizes nothing. Just that girls (ehem) like soft toys and who in their right mind don't want a forever friends bear? OMG! it is always a nice gesture to give diamonds, cars, property, gold, platinum a small token of appreciation in forms of bears, flowers and knick knacks as encouragements and support.

So.

The hubs asked what kind of bears I like?

Of course the Forever Friends bear(s)!!! Erm. Actually, I liked that Me to You bears too...

Back to our conversation, he was like, what's Forever Friends bear???

And this are what I showed him.

Mechanical Heart.

Life is so fragile. "Heart" is so fragile.

In Life, we are given a set of everything. One set only. Do bear in mind that little statement. No matter how much money you have, you are not able to change any item in your body like automotive spare parts. You cannot "buy" a liver, "sell" a kidney and such. You can donate, yes, but under what circumstances? A family member? Poverty?

Just remember. One set only.

The tale of a little dress.

I wore a dress to work today.

As I waited for the elevator, I felt uneasy. Did I overdressed? Am I over doing it? Well, I am a girl (am I still being called that now that I'm married? Lol! ) and girls do wear dresses aren't they?

The "ding" from the elevator came too soon and broke my reverie. As the elevator climbed higher and higher, my anticipation and uneasiness climbed with me.

Ah, shove it. I'm already here aren't I? Mind over matter. Mind over matter. As I chant to myself. I don't mind, they (their comments) don't matter.

As I bleeped myself in and walked towards my cubicle, the first person commented.

"Wah! A dress?"

"Yeah. New Year mah!" I replied and sat down.

Few minutes later.

"Wah, wear dress wor. First time."

"Yeaps. New Year." Geez. Can't they see I'm trying to do my work here?

A whole hour passed and feeling hungry, I went to the pantry to make tea for myself.

While putting in tea bags into my mug;

"Good morning! Wow! Nice dress!"

"Thanks."

"First time see you in it. Change of fashion sense?"

"Nope. Just to commemorate the New Year."

I quickly finish up making my drink and left hastily.

"Mann.. It's gonna be a long, looonnggg day..." I thought to myself.

I should really learn to accept compliments graciously instead of being embarrassed of them. I still have a long, long way to go...

Recalling 2012.

Last year was somewhat of a milestone for me. For one, I have gotten hitched. That enters me into a whole new different level of adulthood. Or something.

Generally, 2012 has been smooth albeit little hiccups here and there, but hey that's what makes life interesting ain't it?

January.

I have baked few batches of Moist Chocolate Cake for the hubs family members and my own. A selected few gets the special Pineapple Tarts.

During second week of January, I was busy baking for everybody and the hubs became the temporary delivery guy to each and every family members around KL. I have also baked Salted Chunky Chocolate Chip Cookies. Fuuuuhhh.. That was a looooooooooonnnggg name for a cookie that can be eaten in less than 3 seconds. But it was so worth it. The best chocolate chip cookie by far.

February.

Nothing much in particular. Assignments batch one due though. *breaks in cold sweat*

March.

Pretty boring month. Nothing much happened. I guess this is the month I "farmed" the most.

You know.

April.

This month is the first fitting for wedding dresses!!

Omg. Omg.

Finally the verdict is going to come out when I try wedding dresses, whether I can fit my whale size in or not. *gulp*

May.

I have my second fitting on 3rd May and the actual photo-taking will be on 4th May, it was a Friday. We will have two types of background shots:

Looking back at the photos, I still feel fat. Whyyy oh whyyyy I'm not those tall, slim and slender kinda girl...... *wails*

June.

WEDDING MONTH!

July.

Went for honeymoon at Bali. Came back July.

Oh well..

Back to reality.

August.

My two favorite administrator in WOU is leaving the company. *cries*

They were so so efficient and good at their work!

The new peeps taking over are not that considerate and efficient. Its hard to find good services nowadays.

September.

My birthday month!

The first birthday celebrated with the hubs after wedding. hehehe..

My birthday presents are:

Yeap. I'm serious.

October.

More assignments due this month.

At least it is the third and last batch of assignments for the year...

November.

Childhood friend Shilin is getting married this month.

Zomg.

She is like three or four years younger than me. My best childhood friend is actually her eldest sister, Shimin. Looks like the younger sister is going to get hitched first instead of waiting in line...

December.

My mostest favorite month of every year!!

No, I am not Christian nor celebrate Christmas, I do always think that Christmas is magical.

Although my country doesn't snow, I do planned to go somewhere that snows for Christmas someday!

New Year!

It's the beginning of the year again. Here I am, back at square one, trying to revive the writing in me. Do I still have it?

I don't know.
